an audio book, the speaker is a famous British actor who gives all the characters a different voice. To even think of Fagin as a pedophile is simply nuts. I don’t think this is Dickens’s intention at all.
This is akin to anybody reading the third book of “Anne of the Green Gables”
series to start thinking there is a lesbian attraction between Anne and her best friend ( I dis-remember the name).

But Thank You for the review, there is some food for thought there.
